DESCRIPTION:  \nDownload your Free Tickets Here\n\nExperience the Passion and Poetry of a Chinese Masterpiece \n\n\nDream of the Red Chamber: A Cantata by Taiwanese composer Eric Liu\, Experience the Passion and Poetry of a Chinese Masterpiece sung in English. Kuei-Jhu Chen conducts the Premiere U.S. performance with the Choral Arts Society of Utah along with violinist Leslie Henrie\, cellist\, David Workman\, pianist Susanna Karrington\, three narratives\, including our conductor Sterling Poulson\, and yes\, several abacuses. \n\n\nAdapted from the legendary 18th-Century novel by Cao Xueqin\, this powerful cantata brings one of China’s greatest literary epics to life through music. This evocative work explores themes of love\, destiny\, and impermanence.. A timeless tale re-imagined for the concert stage. Other selections on the concert also reflect the same theme of love and our destiny as we create it.
