DESCRIPTION:The Choral Arts Society of Utah under the direction of music director and conductor Sterling Poulson and accompanist Diana Bowler. presents “The Road Not Taken.” The performance is Monday\, March 14 at the new Mid-Valley Performing Art Center in Taylorsville.  The concert begins at 7:00 pm and admission is free.  Our featured guest artists from Park City High School are pianist Deborah Hsu\, and cellist Oliver Diaz Moore.  \n [Text Wrapping Break]This concert features choral music by 20th and 21st-century American composers Randall Thompson\, William Dawson\, and Joshua Rist. Selections range from the serene musical settings of the poems of Robert Frost to the high-energy spirituals of William Dawson.   \n  \nThe Choral Arts Society of Utah 100-voice choir is based in Salt Lake City. Many of their performances are free\, including their annual Armed Forces Day Concert on May 21st\, and the Days of ’47 Pops Concert on July 8th and 9th at Abravanel Hall.
