DESCRIPTION:The Choral Arts Society of Utah\, Wasatch Master Chorale\, and West Valley Symphony join forces for a special concert event featuring the “Sunrise Mass” by Ola Gjeilo and other choral and orchestral selections\nSalt Lake City\, Utah — February 12\, 2025 — The Choral Arts Society of Utah is thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration with the Wasatch Master Chorale and the West Valley Symphony of Utah for an unforgettable evening of music on Saturday\, March 29\, 2025 at 7:30 pm.  The concert\, to be held at Libby Gardner Concert Hall (1375 President’s Circle\, University of Utah campus)\, will feature a stunning program of choral and orchestral works\, including Ola Gjeilo’s acclaimed Sunrise Mass\, as well as selections by Mozart\, Smetana\, and Mack Wilberg. Admission is free\, with no tickets required \nThis special performance brings together some of the finest musical talent from across the Wasatch Front. The Wasatch Master Chorale\, formed in 2004\, has been a beloved fixture in Ogden\, Utah\, and continues to inspire audiences with their dedication to performing beautiful music from diverse spiritual traditions. The chorale is composed of members from various backgrounds\, united in their love for singing and their commitment to creating inspiring music. \nSince its founding in 1991\, the West Valley Symphony of Utah\, an all-volunteer orchestra of 75 musicians\, has been a cornerstone of Utah’s vibrant arts scene\, performing everything from classical compositions to pop hits. The Symphony plays at a variety of venues\, including the Utah Cultural Celebration Center\, the Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center\, and annually at the Delta Center for the Larry H. & Gail Miller Christmas Carol Sing-Along. \nThe Choral Arts Society of Utah has been a prominent cultural organization in Utah since its inception in 1985\, showcasing the best in choral music from classical to contemporary genres. Their dedication to musical excellence is reflected in their many performances with local and national talent.
