THE CHORAL ARTS SOCIETY OF UTAH
OUR 39TH SEASON OPENS WITH
SONGS FOR A NEW SEASON

Donny Gilbert, Associate Music Director of the Choral Arts Society of Utah conducts a concert that celebrates the enduring power of music from the jubilant opening of “Fanfare for a Festival” and the democratic spirit of Howard Hanson’s “Song of Democracy” to the quiet wonder of nature and the beauty of creation. As Summer turns to autumn, and the new school year and season begin, the music moves from reflection and gratitude to the deeply personal voice of Eriks Esenvald’s “My Song,” before bursting onto the stage with the wit, energy, and imagination of music from “Wicked.”
